SkyinQ's recent collaboration with Nextwave, a South Korean expert in industrial IoT retrofit solutions, is an example of how targeted strategy can rapidly solidify a company’s position in a pivotal market.
For high-growth tech startups eyeing international expansion, the challenge is not just launching a product but fundamentally recalibrating their brand presence and messaging for a new, highly competitive landscape.
Our recent collaboration with Nextwave, a South Korean expert in industrial IoT retrofit solutions, is an example of how targeted strategy can rapidly solidify a company’s position in a pivotal market.
Nextwave has developed a technology that connects the physical world to the digital one, turning legacy infrastructure into a living network of insight and control. Their key solution, Prizm, allows organizations such as manufacturing, logistics or agriculture - to retrofit existing machines, sensors, and systems, giving them new life through secure connectivity, real-time data, and edge intelligence. As a result, operations become AI-ready: capable of predicting issues, optimizing energy use, and even making autonomous decisions locally, without internet access.
With a strong initial interest in the market, Prizm’s primary goal was clear: achieve more effective customer acquisition, significantly raise brand awareness, and crystallize their solution’s messaging for the demanding US market.
SkyinQ’s approach was designed to navigate the complexities of the industrial IoT sector and leverage the client's core strengths to new target audiences. The project focus was building a robust, organic digital footprint designed to capture high-value engagement, a critical service for any tech startup’s growth.
SkyinQ developed granular, optimal buyer personas and designed messages targeted to different target audiences. At the core of the project, SkyinQ developed a structured and strategic content ecosystem to support all customer-facing activities—from trade shows and the company website to robust social media.
This work included a comprehensive website audit with strategic content recommendations and SEO optimization. SkyinQ set up and optimized the official company page on Linkedin including relevant content recommendations and tactical advice to position the solution to different target audiences. The comprehensive strategy also included rebuilding and optimizing content to drive thought leadership and accelerate lead generation.
The repositioning of Prizm in the US market demonstrates the comprehensive, results-driven strategic approach. For tech startups looking to accelerate their international growth and dominate new markets, a meticulous and integrated content strategy is part of the essential blueprint for success.
SkyinQ’s key consultant behind the project success was Karla Gutierrez who has extensive experience in brand strategies in the US market.
This project was supported by Global Digital Innovation Network (GDIN), a foundation under Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT supporting Korean digital tech companies in their global expansion.
